Turn-Based Tactics Games Soar in Latin America Q1 2024

Latin America's turn-based tactics gaming scene has shown significant activity in the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at how these games have fared on the unified iOS and Android platforms.

Bowmasters - Multiplayer Game by Playgendary Limited has been a standout, with downloads peaking at nearly 292K and weekly active users reaching over 1.6M. While downloads showed some fluctuation, the active user base saw a closing increase to 1.68M in late March.

Tank Stars, from AI Games FZ, also experienced a strong quarter. Downloads reached 191K at the start of January and saw a rise in revenue to over $1.5K on several occasions. Weekly active users started at 803K but saw a dip to around 573K towards the end of the quarter.

AI Games FZ's other title, Archery Bastions: Castle War, saw downloads surge to around 23K in the last week of March. Active users showed a healthy increase, ending the quarter at approximately 236K.

The Walking Dead No Man's Land by Deca Live Operations GmbH demonstrated consistent revenue with a notable peak of over $2.6K. Downloads and active users both peaked towards the end of March, with downloads nearing 5.3K and active users reaching around 8.6K.

Lastly, DDTank Mobile from 7road International HK Limited showed a varied quarter. Downloads peaked at 6.2K in late January, with active users reaching their highest at over 7K in early March. Revenue trends fluctuated but ended the quarter on a positive note at over $1.6K.
